You and your dog have a special relationship. The lifestyle that you desire with your four-legged friend is unique to the two of you. Karen will work with you and your dog to build a customized program that best meets the unique needs and individual personalities of you and your dog. She will help you to set and accomplish goals to achieve the lifestyle you desire with your canine pal. You can choose to have your dog trained exclusively by Karen at the E-lite facilities or Karen can come to your home and neighbourhood to help you do it yourself. The following are the most popular training options available for you to "Take the Lead" to create your lifestyle together with your furry friend. Contact Karen to learn more. Consultation Canine Behavioural and Lifestyle Assessment - Karen will come to your home for a one-on-one meeting with you, your family and your dog. During this session Karen will observe where and how you and your dog live. She will discuss your needs, desires and lifestyle goals and commitments for your family with your dog. Karen will provide tips, techniques, reference materials and coaching recommendations to assist you in making an informed choice to achieve your desired lifestyle with your dog. Contact Karen to learn how this one-time assessment can enhance your lifestyle with your dog. Top Puppy Development Puppy Leadership - This is a one-time coaching and consultation session available for new puppy owners and puppies less than 11 months of age. Karen will recommend a Take the Lead educational program that will build a solid foundation for your new pup and your family. Contact Karen to learn more. Top Puppy Foundation - In just 6 sessions Karen will teach you and your family how to become benevolent leaders to earn trust and respect from your puppy while building a solid foundation of reliable, compliant behaviour. Top For Families and Dogs of All Ages Board and Train - Your dog is gently introduced into the E-lite pack for 24/7 training and socialization for up to one month to match your lifestyle together. A smooth transition of your dog back to you is assured. Top Train at Home - You and your dog work with Karen in the comfort of your home and neighbourhood for each 1-hour session of your customized program until graduation. Top By-the-Hour - Instruction as required at your home or at E-lite training facilities, to assist with acute training needs for you and your dog. Top Ontario E-lite Facility – For those who want to get away from familiar home territory, a cost effective option is available to bring your dog to Ontario E-lite training facilities for any of the same training packages available through the Train at Home or Train-by-the-Hour program. Top Training Approach Karen is skilled in using a variety of training approaches from "traditional" to technical to innovative socialization approaches. She will recommend and coach you on the approach that will best achieve the goals that you have set for you and your dog. Top Dogs-4-Dogs Social Club - One of the biggest challenges facing urban and suburban dog owners today is the lack of opportunities to offer SAFE socialization for their doggie pals. Most dogs live in relative isolation from other dogs throughout their adult life. Many traditional obedience ‘group’ classes teach only standard obedience commands in a structured classroom environment. Doggie socialization is generally not part of these classes, and in fact, is often discouraged in the interest of ‘dog/owner safety’. Dogs are their own best teachers when it comes to learning how set boundaries and to respect and make ‘friends’ with other dogs. Ontario E-lite Dog Training provides a safe, structured program for dogs to learn how to be dogs! Dogs–4–Dogs is a social club available each weekend for free to E-lite graduates. At Dogs-4-Dogs, dogs can once again ‘be dogs’, interacting and socializing in a safe, supervised open field outdoor area. Top |
